Another week down. It was a great week because our two investigators were able to make it to Church! Rebbace and Ana! They are lovely! I also tried to be more involved on teaching and opening my mouth. We had an amazing miracles this week.topping the list was the miracle with Gelato. We were having trouble thinking of interesting ways to start conversations with people, usually we go with what does family mean or where are your from and so on...so I came up with the idea to ask about the best Gelato place in Battipaglia. Sorella Romero saw this lady with the cutest dog and asked her, which led to her actually walking with us there and we were able to talk about the importance of acting on your faith, and we exchanged numbers so we can meet in the future!
I am so humbled to be able to be a part of this work. I consider myself not a very good teacher or speaker but I felt this week that I do have something to offer otherwise I wouldn't be here. So now I just have to figure out what that is and how I can use my skills and talents to bring others to Christ. It's been a pretty steep learning curve so far, and I can't wait for next week!
The pictures include a carousel in a piazza, my motto on my desk (grazie a sorella Griffin), Salerno, and my District!
Oooo also tried Napoliano pizza gusta diavolo. Delicious.
PS (sent to Emily) I got to hold this owl too... I think it was blind or something. We found it after English group. And when we were petting it this other Italian guy (they were all Italian obviously) started playing the Harry Potter theme song. It was brilliant
